Red River Gorge

Here are some pictures I took while at the Red River Gorge over Memorial Day weekend. If you get a chance to go there (2-1/2 miles south of Cincinnati, OH), it is definitely worth it. The Mountain Laurel was blooming and the rhododendrons were already spent.
The first picture is of a small lizard e saw on the Chimney Top trail. The second and third pictures are of a destination (Rough Trail, I think) that we saw from the Chimney Top trail. The last two pictures are from the Angel Windows trail. The ferns growing in the area were amazing and varied in shape, color, texture.

Nice stuff. I think I like the last one most. The composition is very interesting.

Thanks for the shot of the ferns. I tried taking a similiar pic recently but didn't pull it off. The Gorge is beautiful.
